Julianna Balai is an artist whose creative journey spans jewellery design, retail curation, interior design, and fine art. She began in London’s boutique scene, gaining acclaim for her innovative glass jewellery—pieces celebrated for their originality and craftsmanship. Her work was featured at prestigious venues including the National Glass Centre and the Tate Gallery shop, establishing her reputation as a visionary designer. Her Chelsea shop became a vibrant creative hub, where she curated a dynamic mix of her own jewellery alongside works by artists from London and beyond. It was from this space that Julianna designed the exquisite jewellery for the iconic Yule Ball scene in the Harry Potter films—a testament to her ability to merge artistry with cultural storytelling. Julianna’s practice later expanded into interior design and property development, where she brought the same aesthetic sensitivity to transforming physical spaces. Today, her fine art—vibrant paintings, sculptural pieces, and mixed-media works—reflects the full spectrum of her influences, from the luminous qualities of glass to the architectural elegance of her interiors.
